Prime Video have released the official trailer for its upcoming comedy series, LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland.​

Hosted by Graham Norton, the show – the Amazon platform’s first Irish comedy commission – features comedians confined to a house with the aim of making each other laugh, without cracking a smile themselves.

Taking part are Aisling Bea, Amy Huberman, Catherine Bohart, David McSavage, Deirdre O’Kane, Emma Doran, Jason Byrne, Martin Angolo, Paul Tylak and Tony Cantwell.

 The trailer features cameos from Jedward and the cast of children’s programme The Den, including alien puppets Zig and Zag.

Prime Video are also said to be planning a possible UK version of the format, which started in Japan and has spawned a swathe of local versions including Australia, Canada, India, Brazil and  Nigeria. Trevor Noah it to host an upcoming South African version,

LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland  launches on Friday January 19.
