Munya Chawawa: Not My King

Lauryn Hill parody

Munya Chawawa has  mocked the coronation with a parody of Lauryn Hill's Doo-Wop (That Thing) called Not My King.

The comic has form for mocking King Charles as he played the monarch in Channel 4's Prince Andrew: The Musical.

And his new video has gone viral, claiming more than 800,000 views on social media

In it, he highlights the cost of the celebration, and the royal family's colonial past, with lines such as : 'Coronation cost us 100 mil, some people can't even afford a meal' and: 'The king's smiling with the diamond, the same one, one thing from Africa you won't send back to where it came from.'

Chawawa's previous videos include one mocking  former health secretary's Matt Hancock's affair in a parody of Shaggy's hit It Wasn't Me.
