Only slightly more absurd than the real thing

Saturday Night Live returned last night with a parody of Rudy Giuliani's attempts to overturn the Michigan election results.

And the result was only slightly more absurd than the real state congressional hearings.

Kate McKinnon retuned as a gassy version of Donald Trump's lawyer, before introducing Cecily Strong playing Melissa Carone, an IT contractor for Dominion Voting Systems, who went viral last week with her bizarre, incoherent testimony.

Other witnesses included a woman who ate 'a ballot spaghetti', an alien abductee and   Nicole Kidman's character from Sky Atlantic's The Undoing.
