The video is 'found footage’ of comedian Allen Anders's 1987 performance at New York City's Comedy Castle.

But all is not quite as it seems – and, in fact, the film offers a window into the troubled comedian's psyche.

It comes from director Laura is Moss and stars Chicago-based actor Tony Grayson as is part of Channel 4's Random Acts series.
