And in this clip, the Silicon Valley star is forced to meet yet another potential partner by his mother, played by Zenobia Shroff.

The film is based on Nanjiani's real-life romance with his wife Emily.

Also starrring Ray Romano and Holly Hunter, The Big Sick is out in cinemas on July 28. It is produced by Judd Apatow
