It’s 20 years since ‘The Mary Whitehouse Experience’ hit our screens; 12 years since ‘The Now Show’ arrived on Radio 4; 5 years since ‘Mock the Week’ began on BBC2; and 3 years since Punt and Dennis last toured the UK. There is, therefore, no excuse for not writing a brand-new show and getting out on the road. The sat-nav is programmed, there’s a box of sandwiches and a flask of tea in the back, and props and costumes in the boot. They’re ready to rock!
