Settle Down

Settle Down

Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2014

Angie Belcher is an accomplished stand-up poet who doesn’t live in London. She has performed and written for screen and radio with energetic style and her fruity live work is not for the faint-hearted (but perversely, they’re still allowed in). Settle Down is her first one hour show, a poetic romp of dirty stanzas and awkward observations about approaching 40 via agnosticism, angry computers and puppies vs boys. ‘Funny, crude and incredibly charming’ (CityChameleon.co.uk/WordofMouth). ‘Like Pam Ayres with attitude and an adult audience’ (Bristol Evening Post). **** (Leicester Comedy Festival).
