Kurt Alfrey – Original Review
Note: This review is from 2003
This waffly Canadian newcomer needs to apply some drastic editing to his sprawling act.
He embarks along topics with little apparent regard for what points, or gags he intends to make. It's a broadly topical act, a genre which is normally quite forgiving, yet Alfrey fails to bring much in the way of wit or insight to the topics.
His dry delivery provides nothing but an arid desert of material, too rarely interruted by the oasis of a punchline.
