Adrian Poynton – Original Review

Note: This review is from 2001

Review by Steve Bennett

With his dynamic stage presence that can energise the most moribund of crowds, Poynton certainly has the art of delivery licked.

And his offbeat material's pretty good too, as he brings to life experiences that, though peculiar to him, are never oblique nor self-indulgent.

It's his open and gregarious manner, though, that is his forte - making the very best from his quirky observations.
