Nick Doody – Original Review
Note: This review is from 2001
A very impressive writer, Doody is equally at home with cracking puns, sharp observational stuff or surreal and disturbed flights of fancy that don't sacrific wit for weirdness.
He hasn't the warmest of stage manners, especially with newer gags, but his material is easily strong enough to make this irrelevant. Unfailingly good punchlines such as his will always win through.
Intelligent and funny, Doody certainly comes with the Chortle seal of approval.
