Katy Brand's Dirty Dancing PR stunt takes over London Bridge station

comedyKaty Brand helped stop commuters in their tracks yesterday with a stunt to promote her new Dirty Dancing themed book I Carried A Watermelon.

The comic's publisher HQ Stories hired a dancer to recreate the the famous Patrick Swayze dance to (I've Had) The Time Of My Life on the concourse of London Bridge station, inviting passers-by to join him.

And one woman did with relish, even going as far taking the Jennifer Grey leap into his arms.

The seemingly spontaneous gesture was of course choreographed, but it helped get many other travellers and even station staff into the mood:
