Security to the dancefloor!
Getting a full, paid slot at one of London's best-known comedy clubs should be a landmark moment for any comedian.
But George Rigden's professional debut at Up The Creek on Friday will be remembered for a different reason – as a fight broke out during his set.
It all kicked off after the comic called out some audience members for talking loudly in the front row, and then – as he put it 'they all went mental'.
Footage of the brawl that Rigden has posted online starts with him reprimanding the punters, carefully explaining: 'This act is going to be about irony...
'I want to make fucking clear this is is a joke if you don't get that, that's on you, you fucking idiot.
'You're making a prick of yourself.'
As he's speaking – the rest of his words are unclear – a drink is thrown from a couple of rows back, then two women in the front row retaliate, chucking drinks and glasses.
As Rigden calls: 'Security to the dance floor!' bouncers quickly pounce on the offending punters:
