Confession on the Conan O'Brien show

Chelsea Handler has admitted taking magic mushrooms when she took her staff on team-building excursion.

Speaking to Conan O'Brien on his TBS talk show, she said that as an employer, 'I try to be fun most of the time.'

And as an example, she said:'Most recently we went to camping to Jalama Bay, about three hours away… The single people come. We have fun, we'll do mushrooms or whatever.

When O'Brien reacted with shock, she added the disclaimer: ' I did mushrooms. I can't speak for anyone else. I don't force my employees to do mushrooms by the way, I just want you to know. Netflix, if you're watching, OK, everyone brought their own stuff.'

'I didn't provide the mushrooms. Just for legal reasons I want that to be stated.

She also invited Conan O'Brien's staff to come and join her on the next, erm 'trip' – but he insisted: 'No!'
