When is Ted coming to British TV?

Sky sets air date for Seth MacFarlane's comedy

Ted – the small-screen sequel to Seth MacFarlane’s movies – will land on Sky Max on February 9, the broadcaster has revealed.

The show is set in 1993, and the moment of fame for Ted the talking bear, as voiced by Family Guy creator MacFarlane, has has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder) and John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham).

Katie Keenan, group director of acquisitions for Sky UK said: "We’re honoured to welcome the foul-mouthed, larger-than-life character that is Ted to Sky next year.

‘The Ted movies were a global smash hit, and we can’t wait to see what the TV prequel has in store, however given Seth is behind the project, we know it’s going to be riotous fun for Sky customers, from start to finish."

Running for seven episodes. Ted will also be available to stream  on Now TV from February 9. Here's a trailer:
