Lucy Beaumont 'joins Celebrity Traitors'
Comedian is the next star name linked to the BBC reality show
Lucy Beaumont has become the latest comedian linked to Celebrity Traitors.
The Sun reports that the stand-up – who split from husband Jon Richardson a year ago – will be travel to the Scottish Highlands in the next few days to begin filming on the BBC series.
The newspaper quotes an unnamed source saying: 'Lucy is a massive fan of the show and is so excited about getting stuck in at Ardross Castle.’
Beaumont – who competed in Taskmaster in 2023 – starred in five series of Dave’s mockumentary series Meet The Richardsons with her ex-husband, and co-wrote the Channel 4 series Hullraisers.
It has previously reported that Nick Mohammed, Joe Wilkinson, Alan Carr and Stephen Fry will be among the contestants in the reality show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman.
Other stars reportedly appearing in the first celebrity version of the show include Kate Garraway, Olympic diver Tom Daley, singer Paloma Faith and former rugby player Joe Marler.
Producers have not been commenting on any rumours concerning the line-up with a spokesperson saying only: ‘The Traitors is a game that includes lies and deception, thus it would be foolhardy for any Faithful to speculate before the game has begun.’
