LIFE IN PIECES: This US sitcom ran for four seasons from 2015 to 2019, charting the lives of three generations of the Short family as they go about their daily lives in Los Angeles. Understandably, it was dubbed the next Modern Family and widely considered not to have got the kudos it deserved. It started on U&W last night and now available to stream on U.

MORECAMBE & WISE: THE UNSEEN TAPES: Another delve into the archive, this one featuring some footage previously unseen by a British audience, or since an original single transmission. Included is Eric's last television recording, for a programme that never aired, and Ernie's guest role in an American sitcom. There's also the newly-discovered earliest existing footage of Morecambe & Wise and some of their appearances from the earliest days of TV. Contributors include Dame Judi Dench, Wayne Sleep, Rula Lenska, Valerie Singleton and Tommy Boyd – all of whom worked with the duo. 5, 9.15pm
SPINAL DESTINATION: This New Zealand comedy stars Bree Peters as Tessa, a go-getter with a busy life and loving family. When a mysterious illness leaves her paralysed, Tessa is sent to a spinal unit where she must learn to navigate the new version with the help of her alter-ego, ‘Walking Tessa’. It was created by writer Paula Whetu Jones based on her own experience of paralysis. U&W, midnight
SAID THE ACTOR TO THE BISHOP: Previously unheard tapes of Kenneth Williams reading stories from the Bible – commissioned following his brilliant performances on kids' storytelling show Jackanort – are to air as part of this documentary about the Carry On star's relationship with his faith. Brought up a Wesleyan and then a Methodist, he spent much of his life struggling with the Church’s teachings on homosexuality. Radio 4, 8pm
