
Who won at the 2025 Chortle Awards?
All the winners revealed
Bob Mortimer, Inside No 9 creators Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, and musical comedy duo Flo and Joan were all double winners at the Chortle Awards tonight.
Elsewhere, prolific BBC radio producer Bill Dare – who died in a an accident earlier this month at the age of 64 – was given a heartfelt tribute from Dead Ringers stars Jon Culshaw and Jan Ravens as he received the offstage contribution award.
Janey Godley was also honoured posthumously for her radio show about cancer, The C Bomb, while other winners included Sam Campbell, Munya Chawawa and Frankie Boyle’s podcast with Susan McCabe and Cristopher Macarthur-Boyd, Here Comes The Guillotine.
Shearsmith and Pemberton took home the Outstanding Achievement award for ten years of Inside No 9, which was also named best TV show – an award it has won three times before
Mortimer was named best TV comedian, and scooped the book award for his novel The Hotel Avocado while Flo & Joan win the sketch and variety award, with their One Man Musical – featuring George Fouracres as Lord Lloyd Webber – was named best show
The winners of the venue awards were announced on Friday.
