As season 18 comes to an end

The line-up has been announced for the next Taskmaster’s New Year Treat.

Competing for Greg Davies’s  golden eyebrows in the one-off show are former England and Liverpool footballer David James, mathematician, science presenter Professor Hannah Fry, All Saints star Melanie Blatt, Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis, and Royle Family star Sue Johnston.

The news was announced as the winner of the 18th season was announced – which we won’t reveal here in case it’s a spoiler.

No broadcast date has yet been announced for the New Year Treat.

This will be the fifth seasonal special, with previous ones won by Mo Farah, Lenny Rush,  Adrian Chiles  and Shirley Ballas.
