New book from Gone Fishing's dog, Ted
Ted, the dog from Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse’s Gone Fishing, has 'written' his first book.
His ‘pawtobiography’ is to be released in November and promises to expose ‘what it's like working alongside two national treasures and what really happens when the cameras stop rolling’.
Publication will coincide with the eighth series of the hit BBC Two series, which regularly attracts more than 2million viewers.
Ted’s Instagram page – which has almost 180,000 followers, broke the news with a post saying: ‘I've only gone and written a book! It's my Pawtobiography and tells the tale of how I went from a skinny runt to a national treasure. I also spill secrets of all the behind the scenes action on Gone Fishing. It's an adventure story and will have you in tears ... of laughter and a bit of sadness.’
Ted is a Patterdale terrier, believed to be owned by the show's executive producer, Lisa Clark.
Published by Ebury, the 160-page title is available for advance order in hardback and ebook – although no audiobook has yet been confirmed.
