Russell Brand makes £2m in a year
Russell Brand’s bank balance has grown £2million in a year.
Documents newly filed at Companies House show that his firm, Pablo Diablo's Legitimate Business Firm Ltd, swelled its assets from £2million to £4.1million over 2021.
And that’s even after taking into account a £648,000 bank loan the company took out. It is thought that was to buy The Crown, the only pub in the village of Pishill, Henley-on-Thames.
Brand has run into opposition from locals over plans to turn the boozer into a vegan restaurant, and to change the use of his garage to a studio where he will record videos for his online channel.
The comedian has 6million followers on his main YouTube channel, which last week fell foul of the platform’s guidelines on Covid misinformation after what he called a ‘relatively small error’.
‘They took down one of our videos for misinformation, but why are big media organisations not censored for misinformation in the same way? Is it because YouTube are part of the mainstream media now?’ he said.
In protest he started a new programme on the platform Rumble, which provides the technology for Donald Trump’s Truth Social as well as hosting Kremlin-backed RT, Alex Jones of InfoWars…. and America's Funniest Home Videos,
Recent Russell Brand videos on YouTube have titles such as ‘Hang On, Bill Gates Said WHAT About Vaccines? and ‘The Queen’s Funeral - The HIDDEN Truth THAT NOBODY’S TALKING ABOUT’.
He has another 392,000 followers on his Awakening YouTube channel about ‘meditation techniques and brilliant thinkers in the areas of spirituality and advanced nostic systems’
Pablo Diablo's profits mean the company paid a hefty £875,000 in tax over the year. It employs three people and says that its main activities are ‘audiovisual productions and live shows’.
