LONDON: Free Fringe founder Peter Buckley Hill records two one-man shows at the Bloomsbury Theatre studio tonight: How Does He Smell, his show from last year’s Fringe and Ephemeroids, all the stuff he wrote, or revised, in lockdown, that has not previously been recorded. He's just turned 74 and says he ‘wants to get everything recorded before decrepitude sets in’.

READING: The Bristol-based Slapstick Festival celebrating vintage comedy scoots down the M4 for this Big Comedy Bash fundraiser to boost its coffers. Al Murray, Angela Barnes, Rory Bremner and Shazia Mirza do their bit at the Hexagon.

Thursday April 14

NORTHAMPTON: An excellent triple headliner show at the Charles Bradlaugh features BGT’s Nabil Abdulrashid, quirky and sometimes dark Harriet Kemsley, and Comedian’s Comedian podcaster Stuart Goldsmith, all compered by the ace Rich Wilson. Tickets.
