BUXTON: Dara O Briain kicks off his stand-up tour, So… Where Were We? at the Buxton Opera House –  with dates right through to February next year. The Mock The Week host performed his last show,  Voice Of Reason, 180 times over 2 years and across 20 countries. CARDIFF: And Bobby Mair starts his latest tour, Cockroach, at the Cardiff Glee. He chose the title to reflect the fact that if he could survive addiction and mental illness with a sprinkle of childhood trauma, it felt nothing could kill him. LONDON: American comic Catherine Cohen brings her manic, award-winning show The Twist...? She's Gorgeous to the Clapham Grand. It’s  sold out, but there may be returns. LONDON: Gavin & Stacey star Larry Lamb hosts a benefit at the Comedy Store in aid of The Katie Piper Foundation  for survivors of burns and people with scars from traumatic incidents. The line-up boasts a wealth of circuit stalwats:  Andy Askins, Jeff Innocent, John Robins, Laura Lexx, Lindsey Santoro, Luisa Omielan and Prince Abdi.

LEEDS: Now a regular on the Dave channel, thanks to stints  Taskmaster,  Outsiders, and  as co-host of  Mel Giedroyc’s Unforgivable, Lou Sanders embarks on a 45-date tour of her new show,  One Word: Wow, at the City Varieties. Lou Sanders tour dates.

LEEDS:  Jonny Pelham also kicks off his tour proper in Leeds tonight, following an early date at the Leicester Comedy Festival - this one at the Hyde Park Book Clun. In his acclaimed show Off Limits,  the comic talks about a difficult topic – being a survivor of childhood abuse – yet always keeps the tone light, proving you can joke about anything if you’re good enough to pitch it right.
