New home for Liverpool's Hot Water Comedy Club

Bigger venue with three performance spaces

Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club is on the move.

The 11-year-old venue is relocating to a new site called Blackstock Market early next year, featuring a 560-capacity comedy club – two-and-a-half times the size of its current home in Hardman Street.

The redeveloped industrial site also boats a second 225-seat theatre and 100-seat studio space, both of which will host comedy shows and tours.

It will also have a food court, outdoor stage hosting music every night, plus a whisky bar and  sports bar

The new site is on the edge of the city centre, close to the entrance to the Kingsway Tunnel, compared to the current more central site in the so-called ‘knowledge quarter’.

No date has yet been announced for the opening of the new venue, but a website has just gone live.
