Broadcaster lands rights to Sex And The City sequel

Sky has snapped up the rights to air Sex And The City follow-up And Just Like That… in the UK.

The show follows the further New York adventures of  Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate life and friendship in their 50s.

Sky Comedy will air the show from December, the broadcaster has announced today, and it will also be available on streaming service Now.

The ten-episode series is currently filming and will debut on the HBO Max streaming service in the US.

Its wider cast includes Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler.

And Just Like That… will be available in all Sky markets including UK & Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

The original  Sex and The City is available on demand on Sky Comedy and Now.
