Pair back together for Sky's There’s Something About Movie

Jennifer Saunders is to be reunited with her Ab Fab co-star  Joanna Lumley on Sky One’s panel show There’s Something About Movies.

The pair will share the screen in the final episode of the third series of the Alan Carr-fronted programme, which starts on Thursday October 22.

Saunders is a regular team captain opposite Michael Sheen, with Tom Allen as a regular panellist.

The series begins with Gemma Arterton as the guest, followed by Kelly MacDonald and Daniel Mays, Nick Frost, Nick Mohammed, Stephen Graham, Guz Khan, Mo Gilligan, Rob Beckett, and finally Lumley. 

 Carr said: ‘Not only am I really excited to be able to leave the house but also I am buzzing to get started… although going to the cinema seems like a distant memory/‘

Classic scenes to be recreated by the celebrities this season include memorable moments from  The Wizard of Oz, The Wolf of Wall Street and Toy Story. 

Production company CPL say that despite social distancing restrictions, they are ‘working to keep the show as close to the original format as possible within current government guidelines’.

Episode six of the series will also be the show’s first ever Christmas special.
