Still Game was the most-watched show in Scotland last year
An episode of Still Game was the most-watched TV programme in Scotland last year.
TV regulator Ofcom says about 1,373,000 people tuned in to watch the BBC One comedy when it was broadcast on March 15, just over a quarter of the entire population.
It was the second episode from the eighth series of Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill’s comedy, which has now come to an end.
However when the sitcom returned earlier this year, on the launch night of the new BBC Scotland channel, it attracted just over half that figure: 700,000 viewers. But it was still the most-watched show of the night.
Bodyguard, World Cup matches, Strictly Come Dancing and I'm A Celebrity also featured at the top of Ofcom’s list.
