Gold drops You Me & Them
THE Gold TV channel has dropped its sitcom You, Me & Them. The broadcaster told the TV Wise website that the show, starring Anthony Head and Eve Myles as a couple with a big age difference, will not be returning for a third series.
JAMES CORDEN is being tipped to join the US comedy The Great Indoors, which stars Community's Joel McHale as an adventurer and journalist, and Stephen Fry as his editor. Creator Mike Gibbons told trade magazine Broadcast that the Gavin And Stacey star turned chat show host expressed an interest in the show.
THE first trailer has been released for a short dramatic film about climate change starring Marcus Brigstocke. SARAH MILLICAN is to take part in the South Tyneside Comedy Festival, joining names such as Chris Ramsey, Jason Cook, Justin Moorhouse, Gary Delaney and Paul Sinha. Her panel event at the South Shields Customs House at 3pm on July 31 will be a fundraiser for her online women's magazine Standard Issue and also feature comedian Dotty Winters and Standard Issue editor, Mickey Noonan.
