Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse have announced 17 dates of their Legends! tour, marking 25 years of their comedy partnership. Tickets for the dates, starting in Plymouth on October 24, go on sale at 9am next Monday. Loadsamoney, the Old Gits, Smashie and Nicey, Kevin the Teenager and The Scousers are among the characters promised. Dates.

THE GLEE Comedy Club is to open a new venue in Stoke-on-Trent to add to existing sites in Birmingham, Cardiff, Nottingham and Oxford. Its new club opens on May 30 in the former Theatre Royal, more latterly Jumping Jacks nightlcub, in Hanley, and will operate on the last Saturday of every month.

THE Play That Goes Wrong has been named best new comedy at the Olivier Awards for London theatre. The show was conceived in a pub theatre by improv group Mischief Theatre in 2013 and has gone on to be a West End hit. Variety show La Soiree won the best entertainment and family award.

MARK WATSON is to release his latest stand-up show, Flaws, on DVD. He’ll be taping a double bill with his 2012 show The Information at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London on June 10. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday.

THE nominations have been announced for the Golden Gibbo award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The prize, in honour of the late Lynda Gibson, rewards independently produced local shows with a strong artistic spirit. Shortlisted are  Watson: Who's Afraid of the Dark, Ben Russell: The Tokyo Hotel, Laura Davis: Ghost Machine, David Quirk: Thrasher, Clara Cupcakes and Jon Bennett, It's Rabbit Night.
