Shortlisted for his Absolute show

Frank Skinner has been nominated for the title of commercial radio’s presenter of year.

The comic has been shortlisted in the Commercial Radio Awards for his Saturday morning show on Absolute Radio.

He is up against LBC 97.3's Iain Dale and Dixie & Gayle from Real Radio Yorkshire.

Nor is he the only stand-up to be nominated; Kojo is up for breakfast show for the year for his show on London urban station Choice.

Christian O’Connell from Absolute Radio will host the awards ceremony in London on July 3.
