'Keep Calm And Karey On'

Rhys Darby is to star in a new American sitcom called entitled Keep Calm and Karey On.

The comic will opposite Kelly Preston – John Travolta’s wife – in a pilot episode for the ABC network.

Preston plays the title role, an honest woman in a family of ‘petty thieves, drug addicts, and narcissists’, Hollywood website Deadline reports. New Zealander Darby, best known as Murray in Flight Of The Conchords, will play her husband.

The plot revolves around Karey raising her brother’s kids –  along with her adopted son – after he is sent to jail, and trying to keep them on the straight and narrow.
