Watch Lee Nelson get kicked out of Madame Tussauds

Lee Nelson has been kicked out of Madame Tussauds after trying to install his own waxwork.

The publicity stunt for his new BBC Three series follows a similar incident last year, when he had a run-in with a real police officer after staging a mock shoplifting at HMV in London’s Oxford Street.

Nelson – aka comedian Simon Brodkin – put his home-made dummy on display next to Olympic heptathlete Jessica Ennis – but was soon turfed out by security guards

However, the stunt to promote his new BBC Three series Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People, which starts tonight, was captured by plenty of press cameras.

He protested to staff: ‘It took me an hour to make! That’s twice as long as any of those others took... they look shit.’
