Tina Fey 'to join the Muppets'
Reunion with Ricky Gervais
Tina Fey is set to be the female lead in the next Muppet movie.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 30 Rock star is in ‘‘late-stage negotiations’ for the role of a Russian gulag guard.
If she signs up, she would be reunited with Ricky Gervais, with whom she starred in 2009‘s The Invention of Lying.
And this weekend, Fey co-hosts the Golden Globes – a job he has done for the past two years.
Modern Family star Ty Burrell has also been announced as being among the cast, playing a lazy Interpol inspector.
