Mrs Brown still rules the DVD roost
Mrs Brown and Michael McIntyre have held on to their positions as the No 1 and No 2 bestselling live comedy DVDs this week.
Although festive new film release Arthur Christmas was the bestselling title across all genres last week, it was the only disc to outsell the comedy pair.
A new entry at No 3 in the stand-up charts – and No 13 overall – is Peter Kay’s Live & Back On Nights. It was filmed, like his 2011 hit, on his Tour That Doesn’t Tour Tour, but contains 50 minutes of new material.
The top ten DVD sellers in comedy this week are:
- Mrs Brown Live: Good Mourning Mrs Brown
- Michael McIntyre: Showtime
- Peter Kay: Live & Back On Nights
- John Bishop: Rollercoaster
- Kevin Bridges: The Story Continues
- Sarah Millican: Thoroughly Modern Millican
- Frankie Boyle: The Last Days Of Sodom
- Jack Whitehall Live
- Rhod Gilbert: The Man With The Flaming Battenberg Tattoo
- Jon Richardson: Funny Magnet
