Radio 4 show for Adam Riches

Full series commissioned

Adam Riches is to make a full series for Radio 4, following the success of a one-off earlier this year.

The comic – who won last year’s Edinburgh Comedy Award – has been commissioned to make four half-hour episodes of The Guns Of Adam Riches. It will be recorded in January, and air later next year.

Like the pilot, which aired last month, the shows will mix character sketches with audience interaction.

Riches said: ‘The transition from live can sometimes be tricky, but I've been given great freedom to get it wrong here and still get paid, which is the situation I think we're all striving for in life.'

It will be produced in-house at the BBC by Simon Mayhew Archer & Rupert Majendie
