BBC Three orders more Bad Education and Live At The Electric

BBC Three has ordered a second series of Jack Whitehall sitcom Bad Education – and two more runs of live comedy showcase Live At The Electric.

Channel controller Zai Bennett announced the news at the Edinburgh TV Festival this afternoon.

Bad Education, n which Whitehall plays a useless teacher, has proved an instant ratings hit for the channel. Bennett also announced series two and three of Live At The Electric, hosted by Russell Kane.

Each will comprise eight episodes, mixing stand-up, sketch, short films and musical comedy.
