Eddie Izzard announces 2013 tour – to visit 25 nations

Eddie Izzard has announced the first dates in his 2013/14 world tour – which will eventually play in 25 countries.

Nineteen British and one Irish show will go on sale on Friday in the first tranche of dates for his Force Majure tour, which kicks off in April next year.

Appearances in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland have also been revealed, although he will eventually take it across the, USA, Africa, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, India, Nepal and The Far East. too.

Izzard has just finished touring has last show, Stripped, which included a full run performing it in French, in Paris, as well as a booking at the Hollywood Bowl, making him the first solo stand-up to play the famous venue.
