- Russell Brand likes wearing his wife’s clothes, apparently. He turned up at an Los Angeles yoga class last week in Katy Perry’s skimpy grey T-shirt and formfitting sweatpants. A classmate said: ‘He admitted he was wearing Katy's clothes and that she doesn't mind, adding, “What's hers is mine!”’

- Al Pacino started in showbiz as a stand-up comic. Adam Sandler, who is directing the Scarface legend in the upcoming comedy Jack and Jill, made the revelation on Jay Leno’s US talk show. ‘I bet you didn't know this – and I didn't know it either – but he was a stand-up. That's how he started,’ Sandler said. ‘Pacino was in a comedy team, in the beginning. He and another guy, I forgot what the man's name was, but he, like, used to do the Improv in New York. I swear to god... It wasn't just like a brief thing. He did it for like a couple years, I think. He told me some of his routines and they were great!’ Cue every two-bit impressionist doing an ‘imagine Pacino as a stand-up...’ routine.
