Kevin Bridges to host Scottish Baftas

Rab C Nesbitt among nominees

Kevin Bridges will host the Bafta Scotland awards, it has been announced.

The ceremony returns to his home town of Glasgow next month after taking a year off.

Bafta Scotland director Jude MacLaverty said: ‘As one of our finest comics, Kevin Bridges seemed like a natural choice to host this year's ceremony.

And Bridges added: ‘I'm looking forward to hosting the awards, it should be a good night and hopefully it'll be a laugh.’

Among the nominees are Burnistoun, Limmy's Show and Rab C Nesbitt – which are all in the running for the entertainment award.

The event takes place at the Radisson Blu hotel on November 13.
