Frank Skinner gets classy

BBC2 comedy on the social order

Frank Skinner is to host a one-off comedy show about class for BBC Two.

Class Dismissed will feature a discussion on the ‘comic goldmine’ topic, as well as video inserts from stand-ups Roisin Conaty, Miles Jupp and Micky Flanagan.

Upper-middle class Jupp tries to masquerade as a Cockney, ‘socially mobile’ Flangan tries to appreciate the arty tastes of the middle classes, and ‘salt-of-the-earth’ Conaty wonders if she could ever fall in love with an upper class person, ‘when some of them don't even understand the concept of a fish finger’.

The single half-hour episode is to be recorded at TV Centre this Friday and air later this autumn.
