As a permanent team member

Chris Addison is to become a permanent team regular on Mock The Week when it returns next month.

The Thick Of It star is already one of the show’s most frequent panelists, with 11 appearances to his name, but will now join Hugh Dennis’ team every week.

There are six more episodes and a Christmas special left in this series, which is currently taking a break for the summer.

Micky Flanagan, Milton Jones, Ed Byrne, Stewart Francis, Miles Jupp and Ava Vidal are all due to make return appearances, too.

The show resumes at 10pm on Thursday September 8.
