Dane Cook has appeared on Louis CK’s American sitcom in a scene that mines real-life joke-stealing accusations for uncomfortable laughs.

Two years ago, arena-filler Cook was accused of lifting material from CK about witnessing a road accident, naming children, and having an ‘itchy asshole’.

The incident was used as the basis for an awkward conversation between the two comics on Thursday night’s edition of the FX sitcom Louis.

In the scene, CK – one of the most respected stand-ups among US comedy aficionados – approaches Cook – one of the least – to try to blag tickets to a Lady Gaga concert.

But Cook puts CK on the spot for his refusal to intervene when the accusations of joke-stealing were flying around the internet.
