New Radio 2 comedy roadshow

Russell Kane is to front his own six-part Radio Two series featuring a raft of guest stand-ups.

In What Happens In... the Edinburgh Comedy Award-winner will travel to seaside resorts across Britain delivering local material as he introduces musicians and fellow comedians.

The series will start off in his native Southend next month before visiting Brighton, Blackpool, Swansea, Folkestone and Bournemouth.

The series is being made by the production arm of his agents Avalon, and will be broadcast later this summer.
