The funny side of 1908
Ben Miller and Alexander Armstrong are set to star in a new Channel 4 sitcom set around the 1908 London Olympics.
The pair will play Edwardian gentlemen about town, who indulge in a bender of drink, drugs and sex, while competing in the Games with no training whatsoever.
Felix and Murdo has been written by Men Behaving Badly creator Simon Nye, and will be filmed in front of a studio audience.
A pilot edition is being shot in London later this month by Objective, makers of Peep Show, John Bishop’s Britain and Pete vs Life.
Comedy actress Lizzie Roper also appears in as Mrs Snivel, while the show is being produced by Ben Farrell – who was behind the recent Reggie Perrin reboot. The director is Christine Gernon, whose credits include Gavin & Stacey, Grandma’s House and Absolutely Fabulous.
See our Free Tickets page for details of how to be in the studio audience.
