Revealed: Who's playing Fast Fringe
The line-up has been announced for this year’s Chortle Fast Fringe – the London showcase in which a mammoth 28 acts have just three minutes to present highlights from their Edinburgh show.
Festival legend Arthur Smith will host the event in London’s Leicester Square Theatre on July 5, which boasts a mix of music, cabaret and comedy.
Stand-up stars scheduled to appear include Phil Nichol, Ava Vidal, Elis James, Jason Cook, Kerry Godliman, Ray Peacock & Ed Gamble, Isy Suttie – and the animated comedy of Little Howard.
Music comes from the likes of Segue Sisters, Vikki Stone, Worbey & Farrell and Rayguns Look Real Enough; while variety is offered by dance-based comics New Art Club, mind-reader Chris Cox and magician Piff The Magic Dragon among others.

- Chortle is also promoting the Funny’s Funny gala in London on Monday, showcasing the best female comedy talent. The event will raise money to support other up-and-coming acts though the new Female Comedian Of The Year competition.
The line-up is Isy Suttie, Ava Vidal, Barbara Nice, Diane Spencer, Caroline Mabey, Jen Brister, Jess Foteskew, MC Sally-Anne Hayward.
