C4 sitcom remade for America

Channel 4 comedy Free Agents is to be remade for American viewers.

The NBC network has ordered a pilot of the show from UK independent producer Big Talk, which makes the British version.

However, for the US version, the emotionally damaged talent agents – played by Stephen Mangan and Sharon Horgan – will be replaced by PR executive.

The original executive producers Kenton Allen and Nira Park, will take the same roles on the US pilot, MediaGuardian reports.
