10,000 vote in Chortle Awards
More than 10,000 people have voted in this year’s Chortle Awards – with two days still to go.
Yet some categories in the awards, sponsored by Universal Pictures, are still so closely fought that just 50 votes could change the winner.
The makers of the software counting the votes – Obsurvey – said that the Chortle Awards has been the most popular poll ever conducted using its system. And the response already dwarfs the 6,000 who voted in last year’s awards.
Winners will be announced at a London ceremony, hosted by Al Murray, on February 7. Click here to vote, if you haven’t already done so before 5pm on Sunday.
