Bishop owns Christmas...
John Bishop has the Christmas No 1 for stand-up DVDs – holding on to the top spot for the fourth consecutive week.
He’s also a non-mover at No 8 in the entire DVD chart, outselling such Hollywood fare as Sex And The City 2 and The A Team in the last seven days.
In fact, the all top five stand-up DVDs retain their ranking from last week, suggesting those that hit the charts in the first week of release are likely to stay there.
The chart is:
1) John Bishop: Elvis Has Left The Building
2) Billy Connolly: Live In London 2010
3) Frankie Boyle: If I Could Reach Out Through Your TV and Strangle You I Would
4) Kevin Bridges: The Story So Far Live
5) Michael McIntyre: The Stand Up Collection
Bill Bailey, Dara O Briain, Tim Minchin and Rhod Gilbert have all sold well, too.
Meanwhile, a campaign to by comedy outfit Kunt & The Gang to storm the top 40 with their delightfully named Use My Arsehole As A Cunt failed to hit its target, coming in at No 66.
