John Smith's unveils new Peter Kay ad
John Smith’s will unveil its latest Peter Kay advert on TV tonight.
Dog Show is the third in the new series of ‘No Nonsense’ ads made by the millionaire – but famously teetotal – comedian to promote the beer.
The 30-second spot is set at a Crufts-style show, with Kay’s dog ignoring the agility tests on the arena floor to go and fetch a newspaper for his master.
Gareth Turner, senior brand manager at Heineken UK, which owns John Smith’s, said the advert was ‘entirely in keeping with the virtues of the brand’.
