Keep it clean

New contest for PG-rated comedians

A new competition has been launched to find Britain’s funniest clean comedian.

Clean Up Your Act, which offers a £1,000 first prize, has been launched by upmarket dry-cleaning chain Elias and Pizza Express.

Six heats will be held in the restaurant’s venues across London between June and the end of August, with the final in September. They will all be hosted by aristocratic male model Lord Robert Walters (pictured) a member of ‘beefcake’ dance troupe Here Come The Boys.

The winner will also receive an ‘incredible opportunity to work with Comedy Central’ – although the exact deal is not stated – as well as a year’s free dry cleaning and pizza.

Entrants must submit a video of clean, original material, which will be used on the competition’s website.
