From lesbian vampires to musketeers
James Corden has landed another big-screen break, after winning a role in a new 3D version of The Three Musketeers.
The Gavin & Stacey star will play a servant called Planchet in the film, alongside Orlando Bloom and Milla Jovovich.
The Musketeers themselves will be played by Matthew MacFadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans with Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan.
The film, to be made by Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson is one of two versions of Alexandre Dumas novel heading to cinemas. Bourne Identity director Doug Liman will begin work on his rival film for Warner Bros in the autumn, Hollywood trade paper Variety reports.
The Three Musketeers will be the second family film for Corden, as he has recently been filming scenes for the star-studded new Gulliver's Travels fukn in London. The cast of that film also includes Jack Black, as Gulliver, plus Catherine Tate and Billy Connolly
Corden’s previous movie credits include The History Boys, which gave him his break, and the critically mauled Lesbian Vampire Killers.
